It is often said that one can never have too many books, though one can certainly have too few shelves. As such, we are delighted to share that our much-loved village library at Grove Place – a sanctuary of quiet reflection and literary discovery – has recently welcomed a new addition.

To accommodate the ever-growing collection and the impressive literary appetite of our community, an elegant new shelving unit has been installed. This enhancement is as timely as it is welcome; with at least two-thirds of our residents regularly frequenting the library, the extra space ensures our collection can continue to flourish without compromise.

An Enhanced Browsing Experience

The new installation allows for a curated and attractively displayed selection of titles. Whether you are seeking a gripping thriller, a historical biography, or a timeless classic, the expanded library now offers even more room for literary discovery.

A Note of Gratitude

This improvement does more than just house our books; it supports the impeccable stewardship of our volunteer librarian, Liz, and her ever-reliable assistant, Peter. The library remains such a welcoming, well-organised, and integral part of village life due to their tireless dedication and generous spirit. We extend our most sincere thanks to Liz and Peter for the time and enthusiasm.
