RICHARD POWELL AS GENERAL MANAGER

LifeCare Residences is delighted to announce the appointment of Richard Powell as General Manager of Grove Place in Hampshire.
Richard has an extensive background in luxury hospitality including, most recently, as General Manager of New Place hotel, in Shirrell Heath. He is also Chairman of the Southampton and Region Hoteliers Association, supporting local hotels with a united voice in hospitality.
Richard also has close family ties to Grove Place. His Grandfather previously owned the neighbouring fields and lived on the estate, with Richard’s mother, in the 1960’s. Richard’s mother was Head of Nursing and Care at Embley Park School (when Grove Place was called the Atherley and merged with Embley).
Richard comments “I’m very excited to be joining Grove Place which is the perfect mix of my background in hospitality and connections with care, as well as my strong family links to Grove Place itself.”
