Grove Place residents raise over £1,000 at Macmillan Coffee Morning
Grove Place residents and staff came together recently to host our annual Coffee Morning, raising an incredible total of over £1,000.
The event brought our vibrant village community together for a fantastic morning of delicious homemade cakes, fresh coffee, and lively conversation, all within the walls of our historic Manor House.
From elaborate showstoppers to classic baked treats, the table was brimming with creations generously donated and prepared by residents, staff, and friends of Grove Place. Attendees enjoyed socialising, taking part in the charity raffle, and supporting a cause close to everyone’s hearts.
Thanks to the extraordinary generosity and teamwork of our residents, team members, and visiting family and friends, we recorded another exceptional total. While the final count is still ongoing, we have raised in excess of £1,000 to support Macmillan’s important charitable work.
Grove Place General Manager, Nicolae Seulean, said of the event, “Our annual coffee morning is always a highlight in the Grove Place calendar, but this year’s success has been remarkable. The atmosphere throughout the morning was wonderful, reflecting the strong sense of community and warmth we share here. We are immensely proud of everyone who baked, helped out, and donated so generously to help us reach this fantastic milestone.”
Events like these highlight the strong community spirit that defines life at Grove Place, where residents regularly gather to enjoy social activities, support local and national causes, and make the most of life in the village.
A huge thank you to everyone who contributed, baked, poured tea, or bought a ticket to make the day such a memorable success!
